The Seasons at a Glance

Spring April marks the beginning of our season, and our prey is the big Rockfish. These fish are migratory, and should be in our area until June. This is the time of the year to catch a once in a lifetime Trophy rock! Mid May thru June: Stripers, Croakers, Flounder, Drum, Jumbo Spot. |

Summer Rockfish and Bluefish are smaller but more plentiful. Normally, they arrive in mid-June. Trout, along with Spot, Croaker, and Flounder also begin to arrive in our area during this time. June thru September: Stripers, Sea Trout, Flounder, Blue Fish, Spanish Mackeral, Jumbo Spot, and Croakers. |

Fall The months of September through November offer the most diversified fishing of the year. Mixed catches of Rockfish, bluefish, Trout, Flounder and Spanish Mackeral are common. During October and November the larger Rockfish return To Solomon's area. By mid-November until the end of December large trophy stripers are caught often. |
